Green Water Algae

Green water algae occurs when tiny free-floating algae bloom in your aquarium, turning the water cloudy or pea green. The most effective solution is a UV sterilizer, which uses ultraviolet light to kill algae spores, bacteria, and parasites in the water column.

How It Works:

• As water passes through the UV sterilizer, the light destroys algae cells, preventing them from multiplying.

• Most tanks see noticeable water clarity improvements within 24-48 hours.

• In addition to removing green water, UV sterilizers help prevent fish diseases by eliminating harmful microorganisms.
